Aberbeeg South.
Situated just a couple of hundred yards north of the Crumlin Navigation steam coal colliery.
It was opened in 1925 by the Aberbeeg Collieries Co.(a subsidiary of Partredge Jones) to work the Tillery house coal seam.
By 1938 the workforce numbered 182.
By 1945 there were 202 men employed, producing about 50,000 tons yearly from the Tillery seam.
Known locally as Budd's it closed in 1965.
